Description
Overseeing day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods. Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize the flow of goods, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines. Taking charge of hiring, developing, and mentoring logistics and warehouse team, shaping a department that aligns with the company’s strategic vision. Managing and monitoring inventory levels, ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing shortages, and preventing overstock situations. Collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline the supply chain and improve logistics processes. Monitoring KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate logistics performance, ensuring continuous improvement. Managing the logistics budget, focusing on cost control and efficiency
Ensuring compliance with local regulations, health, and safety standards. Leveraging warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to automate processes and enhance productivity. Meeting the standards of the free zone and coordination with free zone customs authorities for handling shipments.
Requirements
- Professional in English.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management. Automotive or car parts industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems/ warehouse management.
- Proven ability to lead, and manage a team, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze logistics data to drive continuous improvements.
