Job Description for Merchandiser

Choithrams UAE is seeking a experienced Merchandiser to manage product presentation and inventory planning, ensuring the right products are available at the right time, place, quantity and price. The ideal candidate will analyze market trends, monitor sales and optimize stock levels to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities for Merchandiser
  • Plan and execute merchandising strategies based on seasonal trends, customer preferences and sales targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify top-selling and slow-moving items.
  • Work closely with buyers, store managers and marketing teams to ensure cohesive product presentation.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance in-store or online customer experience.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to adjust merchandising plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movement, pricing, and promotions.
Requirements for Merchandiser
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Merchandiser, Retail Planner or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational abilities.
