The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and in compliance with quality standards. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver successful construction outcomes.
Job Role for Construction Manager
- Plan, coordinate and supervise construction projects from development to completion.
- Manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively.
- Interpret and review plans, drawings and specifications.
- Hire and manage subcontractors, site staff and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Communicate regularly with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct inspections and ensure proper handover upon project completion.
Requirements for Construction Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficient in project management software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
