JOB PURPOSE

To ensure availability, visibility of product through effective merchandising and stock rotation
To ensure proper and correct registering of transactions in POS-Point of sale system
Provide direct and indirect customer service

Qualifications

01. HSC with an aptitude for the role or SSC with minimum 1-year experience in the front-end of a service sector company
Ms Office (MS Excel & MS Word)
02. Proficient in speaking English and basic understanding of reading & writing English
Knowledge of Arabic is added advantage

Other Skills

01. Immediate supervisors on all operational aspects through feedback and reporting
02. Store staff for coordination and communication on team activities and coordination with vendors and merchandisers

Key Distentions

01. Understanding of and achievement of category sales target
02. Ensuring availability by timely replenishment, return of damaged/non-moving products to DC and DSD vendors
03. Maintain cleanliness and QHSE standards on shelf for FMCG/GM merchandise ensuring good quality product reaches to the customer
04. Proper registering of transactions through POS system by handling cash and valuables and operating/ registering transactions (physical/electronic) in various modes with no discrepancy in the transaction
05. Direct and Indirect customer service by maintaining proper displays, correct prices and signage, if applicable
06. Active involvement in in-store activities and any other store activity as delegated by the supervisor (Sales promotions, charity campaigns, inventory checks etc.)
07. Loading, unloading of goods and maintaining back storage
08. Avoiding expiry and ensure timely action on short-expiry stock
09. Any other store activity as delegated by the supervisor

Operating Environment 

01. Job location might change based on business requirement. Job holder may be relocated to any outlet or department.
02. The working environment is physically demanding of time such as working long hours, working on holidays, & demands physical agility.
03. Job demands multi-cultural awareness, in order to effectively communicate with internal & external customers and vendors with courtesy.
