Job Description
looking for an experienced Operations Assistant to join our team at our retail shop. This role will support the smooth operation of both our physical store and eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled in managing inventory, customer interactions, and sales processes
Job Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere and assist customers with inquiries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Offer detailed information on product features, pricing, promotions, and after-sales services.
- Address any inquiries regarding specific products or services to help customers make informed decisions.
- Assist customers by comparing products to facilitate their purchasing decisions.
- Suggest additional products to enhance the customer’s purchase and increase sales.
- Maintain inventory on display racks, ensuring items are fully stocked and organized.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to maintain high service levels, especially during peak times.
- Keep customers updated on any discounts, special offers, and promotions.
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of retail sales processes and customer behavior.
- Experience in managing stock, including organizing inventory, monitoring stock levels, and handling reorders efficiently.
- Ability to handle simple math for pricing, discounts, and order processing.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas and targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to handle customer calls with professionalism, clarity, and courtesy.
- Proficient in responding to professional emails in a timely and appropriate manner.
