Job Description
The Food Packing Staff is responsible for packaging food products in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. This role involves ensuring that all items are properly sealed, labeled, and prepared for distribution, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Packing Products – Accurately pack food items into boxes or containers, ensuring products are secured to prevent damage during transport.
- Quality Control – Inspect packed items for quality, ensuring they meet company standards before sealing and labeling.
- Labeling – Affix labels to packages, including expiration dates and product information, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Inventory Management – Assist in tracking inventory levels of packaging materials and notify supervisors of low stock.
- Safety Compliance – Follow all safety protocols and hygiene standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation – Operate packaging machinery and equipment as required, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Team Collaboration – Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records of packaged items, including quantities and batch numbers for traceability.
- Cleaning – Regularly clean work areas and equipment to adhere to food safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food packing or a similar role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
